Conservative/Republican

Technically, but he's really a Libertarian. He was our candidate for President once. If the Republicans had more like him in office I'd consider joining them.

I wish they did, too, but I'll still go with the GOP when I turn eighteen, because the Libertarian Party seems to push their liberal positions more.  Guess that's because the GOP is their biggest opponet these days.

I think of Dazzleman as a mainstream Republican really. But he's a lot more conservative than he let's on... Wink

Really?  I actually claim to be more conservative than some people think I am.  I have conservative views on most things and don't deny it, but a generally moderate  temperment.

Probably my absolute disdain for contemporary liberal thought, and all it entails, makes me appear more conservative by contrast.

Democrat/Moderate

At school most people think I'm a Republican, but that's just because they are extremely liberal.
My political compass and many other tests indicate that I'm on the libertarian field... but I consider myself much more sophisticated than libertarian.

I would say your a moderate conservative, but VERY partisan like me, but from the other party.

Yes, I think you're right.  There are certain elements dominating the Democratic party that I find completely intolerable, and that makes me a partisan Republican.

Same here!  Columbia University has a large liberal population surrounded by even more liberals in New York.  So as a moderate-to-conservative Southern Democrat I look like a Republican.
