If you do not have a definite answer, just vote whichever way you're leaning.  If you really do not have an answer, nor are you leaning a specific way, you're just sad and don't get to vote.

Write-in: The answer cannot be empirically determined, and the question is therefore moot.

I guess I'm just a sad agnostic.  How can I come up with an absolutist answer to the question about God?  It's like being determined that there are 9,358,192,004,436,789,435,511,030,475 stars in the universe beyond the reach of our best telescopes.  I don't have the information available for such a definitive and arbitrary judgment.

If there is a God, then ok, I've lived my life well.  If God is actually an evil creature and willing to send me to hell for not being a member of a specific bureaucracy or sect of a church, well,  Him. [edit:  silly filters]

If there isn't a God, then ok, I've lived my life well and I can rot in the ground.

Don't be an idiot.  You can easily interpret the question as, "Do you believe God exists?"

The answer is the same. The question is, to me, an utterly irrelevant and pointless one; others are free to feel differently.

If the question is, Do I have a positive belief that God exists, the answer is no. And, similarly, if the question is, Do I have a postive belief that God does not exist, the answer is still no.

A bit technical, but that's similar to what my answer is. I simply don't know.

Then the answer for Emsorth and Dibble is no. You do not believe in God, even if you are open to the possibility.

The question is "Does God exist?" not "Do you believe God exists?" - the answer for us is "Don't Know".

An agnostic is someone who believes that there is some sort of power out there, but not committed to a specific religion.  An atheist says that God does not exist.  That is what my OED says anyways, and that is what I'll go with.  Want to clarify your beliefs?

No, a deist is someone who believes there is a power out there, but not commited to a specific religion.

Hmm, that sounds more like a deist or a non-denominational theist.

Like I said, try not to be an idiot.  I didn't phrase it properly, and I made it quite clear in the post to go with your instincts.

Why make a flawed poll and then blame everybody else for it by calling them 'idiots'?
