I can certainly be anal about many things, but trying to remember every county I've ever been in or driven through is not one of them. Pass.

Come to think of it, I could take Muon2's map, and just darken most of those green box strings of his. When one goes through Nebraska, it tends to be on the same highway.

What is holding me back is figuring out all the counties that the highways I have traveled go through. Ouch!

The tool http://mob-rule.com/gmap-dd takes a route between destinations and uses Google Maps to plot it with overlaid counties. Moving the cursor shows which counties the route transects. The analysis button generates the list in text.

Bing maps is actually good for this! They have the counties when you zoom in relatively close.
