Here is a spreadsheet with the 2012 and 2016 totals + the swings for each media market. I used a map of media markets when making this without a list of their formal names, so it's possible that the media market you're looking for is named something differently on here.

Negative values = Democratic swings; positive values = Republican. Values are shown as decimals; "-0.023" = 2.3-point swing to Clinton.

I was wanting to do something like this.  Except you did it faster.  And probably better than I would have done it.

It's interesting to see how much consistency there was between the two elections.  There was a lot of talk of divergent swings in different parts of the country, but it's not super-obvious on the map, outside of Georgia.

I was wondering how to handle counties split between media markets.  Looking at California, it looks like you simply combined them, as Bakersfield and Palm Springs both got absorbed into LA.
