Moosejaw FrozenBunnies , 6 @ Orlando Orges, 4
In this vicious game, both teams played their very best, and there were plenty of penalties (and fights!). The Ogres left the 1st period with a lead, and entered the second period to a surprise. After scores by Jari Kurri, Wayne Gretzky, and Craig MacTavish for Moosejaw, and a score by Jody Hull for Orlando, the second period ended with the FrozenBunnies ahead 4-2. Shortly after the third period began, Jody Hull scored a flippin' awesome point to close in on Moosejaw. But Moosejaw became Lockjaw, as the FrozenBunnies won by two points.

THE FROZENBUNNIES HAVE WON THE GAME!!!! THE FROZENBUNNIES HAVE ENDED THEIR LOSING STREAK!!!!![/url]

(Note: I am adding this as my favorite game thus far. Grin )

G-Unit Soldiers2 v. New Hampshire Primaries 2
Although the Primaries dominated for most of the game, the Soldiers managed to make a close finish to tie the game.

THE SOLDIERS AND PRIMARIES HAVE TIED THE GAME!!!!!

Restoule Commandas 1 v. New England Nor'Easters 3
In this game, the Nor'Easters dominated the scoreboard. In the last period, the Commandas got their only point to eliminate the embarrassment of a shutout.

THE NOR'EASTERS HAVE WON THE GAME!!!!!

Orlando Ogres 1 v. Dallas Rednecks 2
In a very close game, the Rednecks and Ogres were tied for most of the game. With the game winning goal by Mike Modano with just 15 minutes left, the Rednecks remain undefeated.

THE REDNECKS HAVE WON THE GAME!!!!!

Mississippi Non-Elite 4@ Nyman Capitals 2
With the first goal by Mark Napier just three minutes into the game, the Non-Elite were off to a good start. After they pulled ahead when the first period was ending, they continued to dominate for the rest of the game.

    THE NON-ELITE HAVE WON!!!!!

I noticed that Casey didn't add these games to the 2005 Atlas Hockey League season page on the Wiki, so I did if that's ok.  I also updated the standings.

Nice. This is shaping up to be a good race between California and Detroit. Smiley

G-Unite Soldiers, 4 @ Mississippi Non-Elite 3,
After being shut-out in the first Period, the Non-Elite scored the only goal of the second period, and almost came back to win the third period, only to be shot down by the Soldiers.
THE SOLDIERS HAVE WON THE GAME!!!!!

New England Nor'Easters, 1 @ Dallas Rednecks 0
In arguably the most boring game of the year, the Rednecks are no longer undefeated now, after Phil Esposito scored the winning goal with less than ten minutes remaining.

THE NOR'EASTERS HAVE WON THE GAME!!!! THE REDNECKS ARE NO LONGER UNDEFEATED!!!

New Hampshire Primaries, 3 @ Nyman Capitals 1
Although the Capitals led in the first period, the Primaries tied the game in the second period, then pulled ahead. They further increased their lead in the third period.

THE PRIMARIES HAVE WON THE GAME!!!!

Restoule Commandas, 5 @ Orlando Ogres, 0
After nobody scored in the first period, the Commandas took command of the game, and owned the Ogres, in this shut-out.

THE COMMANDAS HAVE WON THE GAME!!!! THE OGRES HAVE BEEN SHUT-OUT!!!
