That's why God gave us politics AND sports, so everybody can be on each others side at some point.

What about political sports?  It almost turned out that way.

Superbowl XXXVII was between the New England Patriots (Kerry) and the Carolina Panthers (Edwards).
2004 World Series was 1 game away from being Boston Red Sox (Kerry) and Houston Astros (Bush).
