Although Le Pen is gaining, I cannot see her surpassing 42%. There is no hidden Le Pen vote and the growing abstentations in polls are showing to hurt her as well as Macron.

I do believe that Macron can save the EU which is why he MUST kick fascist, Le Pen to the curb and not let her reach 40%.

Oof! Le Pen caught plagiarizing Fillon's speech at her last rally before the election.

She needed a massive political miracle to win on Sunday but she's the one pulling all the gaffes.

So far from what I am seeing on French twitter, people are liking Macron's wit and calmness. Dislike Le Pen's aggressiveness and lack of policy.

Le Pen needed a good debate performance to gain atleast some traction before Sunday. It's the complete opposite. She's a total mess.

So who does everyone think is winning so far?

Macron clearly won the debate and the presidency. Le Pen was acting like a monkey near the end. Both physically and mentally.

Even Wikileaks is admitting that the leaks will have no effect on the election. It's a complete election-media blackout. Russia's interference came far too late.

So once again, the polls were spot on. In fact, it looks like Macron will outperform the exit poll by getting about 66% or so of the vote. Hopefully this election will finally get rid of the Le Pens, although Marine's daughter might try and carry on the tradition.

Have they counted non-French territories yet? I'd imagine that would boost macron's total to atleast 67%.

According to NYT, Macron almost has double the vote of Le Pen. She significantly underperformed regarding pre-polling.
