So it'll be Macron vs. Le Pen, just like we expected a month or so ago?

François FILLON
31,13%
Marine LE PEN
29,09%
Emmanuel MACRON
12,76%
Benoît HAMON
9,34%
Jean-Luc MELENCHON
8,86%
Nicolas DUPONT-AIGNAN
2,90%
François ASSELINEAU
2,41%
Philippe POUTOU
1,48%
Nathalie ARTHAUD

Looks like Fillon won the capital, Nouméa, which was decisive.

So what's the West Virginia/Alabama of France? And conversely the San Fran/Boston/NYC of France?

There aren't any of those. France is just one giant Midwest. Paris is Chicago.

Does anyone know if expat votes in the US are broken down by state anywhere?

If it's anything like 2012, the French have their own way of dividing the US that doesn't quite correspond to states.

Haha so many leftists who claim Le Pen is a fascist. It's amazing how s*** like this continues

Can we just have a Brown avatar already?

We already have a maroon for Socialists.
We do have a brown "other", or at least we used to. Close enough.

It still exists; it's popular among Canadian NDP supporters. The American socialists abandoned it when the S avatar was introduced.

More election data:

Vote by age and sex

Interesting that the old are very much to left, why is that? WWII memories?

They're not leftists. They just don't like Le Pen. Old people were also the only reason Fillon was even a factor in the first round.

Have they counted non-French territories yet? I'd imagine that would boost macron's total to atleast 67%.

"Non-French territories"?
