I'm not very interested by the leaks but it's my assumption that at this point nothing bad against Macron has been found.

I hope they are smart enough to vote based on all the information collected, by hacking or not, as long as information is authentic.

on all authentic and important information. which means, it is impossible to know if those leaks are including anything of use 'till the election.

this is just meant to disrupt the process.

There is still a time. May be we'll find out something bad or good about Macron.

Besides, the French legislative election is soon taking place (11 and 18 June 2017). Plenty of time.

I didn't deny that.
But it does not mean that there is nothing good about it at all. The more transparency the better.

Then Putin should release Le Pen's e-mails as well (and Trump's too while he's at it).

So what time, in EST will:

*Polls open
*Polls close

Polls will open at 8am local time (2am Eastern) and close in the more rural parts at 7pm (1am Eastern) and in the bigger cities at 8pm (2pm Eastern). There will be a first projection at 8pm, after all polls have closed.

this isn't helping transparency at all.

this is like....you try to go to the voting booth and in front of the polling place there is a weird guy with sunglasses, telling you something unflattering about the candidate you wish to vote for and proclaims, showing you some printed emails, that he got proof.

you don't have any effing clue if he is correct or now but you need to vote right now....this is the opposite of transparcy.

Nothing interesting seems to have come from the leaks yet.

It's not easily accessible, you have to downloads them as "magnet links" and I, as probably a lot of people, have no idea how to do that. I have seen no serious information about what's in it either. Seems like it's only ordinary mails about campaign organization, how to brand the PS-turned-EM future deputies, insurance in case of defeat, etc.

I don't think it will have a noticeable impact.

Even for the legislative election, it won't be as important. Worst case scenario is probably Macron becomes slightly hurt, and the Republicans win (with Le Pen beating her polls but still not by enough). There's a 2 year long or so cohabitation and Macron dissolves parliament and runs a new election.

So it turns out the best way to make French people angry is to say that chocolatine is gross. Which it is!

Right now - yes. But the information in the emails will eventually be checked. So we'll eventually get more transparency.

But it is off-topic.

No. The emails won't matter in presidential election (unless there is something really awful, but it is highly unlikely).

Nice.

Hopefully it will hit 80% tomorrow, so that Macron can spank Le Pen really hard.

In Montreal, there's a 1.5 mile long line of voters outside the consulate:

Wouldn't it be better to allow postal voting for French voters abroad ?

Trump supporters in reddit are still spreading it. Just like pizzagate, once they hear something it will always be true to their minds.

The new meme that 4chan and r/t_D are trying to push is that Macron has a secret bank account in the Caymans. They're desperate.

If anybody wants to stop me from ever running politically by setting up for me a secret bank account in a tax haven and putting $1 million in it, I won't complain.  Cheesy
