Just saw him on the Daily Show and I am even more impressed.

He is intelligent, passionate, personable, charismatic and quick on his feet. He also comes off as a "strong" figure which is important for the Democratic party.

Okay, so he isn't the most liberal guy in the Democratic party. So what? This guy has it all and could win in 2008.

Umm...he's our equivalent of Frist.  Maybe slightly more moderate and charismatic, but with slightly more baggage.

I can't stand him. He will win the Delaware primary and that'll be the end of his campaign in '08.

Yea, I forgot there was a second segment. Either way, my opinion is still the same.

And he definetely seems sure he is running for the nomination.

I think he could do very well in South Carolina as well...and possibly New Hampshire. It's really too early to tell.

He is from Pennsylvania, I wish he was our Senator. *cries*

You can't stand any Democrats. Someone is going to win.

I was just saying that I can't stand him because I wanted my personal opinion thrown in. I can't stand Hillary but I think she'll be nominated. I can't stand Feingold but I think he has a shot. My personal opinion of the candidate has nothing to do on how I feel the primary will go.

And, for the record, I can stand Bayh and Warner and have admitted that Bob Casey, Jr., who might beat my political hero, is my favorite Democrat so that was a sorry attempt at trying to label me as a partisan hack.

I heard he ran in either 88' or 92'(or both.) Did he appear in 2000 or 2004? What happened in all his other attempts to win the nomination?

He ran only in 1988 and had to drop out because he ripped off a speech.

Where did I say they didn't have spine?

I just see Biden as having a lot more "spine" then either of those two sleepers. What do you define as spine anyway?

Biden had his chance, he blew it (it's unclear if he or a top aid decided to plagerize a speech by Neil Kanock).

I can't stand Joe Biden.  I can't put my finger on it, but it's something.  It might be that he gets angry a lot for no reason, or that he's a complete psycho.  Smiley

Biden is way too much of a warmonger to get the Democratic nomination. His vote for the bankruptcy bill doesn't help.  Even the other Senator Joe (Lieberman) would be better.

Right after MBNA bought one for him.
