I'm pretty sure I saw a poll which showed Hillary leading Rubio in Texas, so it's probably thrash.

You do realize that Texas Lyceum is probably the worst pollster out there, right?

You forget at one point Clinton appeared to be very strong

Same margin that PPP had this summer... but here it's 29-21 for Abbott. 50% undecided (Huh)

Also in this poll: Obama has a 50% approval rating with TX registered voters.

So yeah. Proceed with caution.

This might be the worst poll I've ever seen.

•Donald Trump (R) 39%
•Hillary Clinton (D) 37%
•Haven’t thought much about it 25%

•Hillary Clinton (D) 34%
•Marco Rubio (R) 27%
•Haven’t thought much about it 40%

oh yeah I remember this poll showing Clinton up over Trump among Registered voters too, why even bother polling with 37% not even thinking about a race? Anyways Cruz will win by double digits, Abbott will probably win by at least 20 ftr

Can't even get a tiny bit excited, given the pollster's track record.

Also any poll with both candidates below 40 is basically worthless.

No.

It was honestly pretty stupid of us to think that Texas wouldn't be contested.

We'll see. But hey if Ossoff can win in GA in a red district in June, then Castro and O'Rourke have a good chance. If not, then this isn't gonna hold.

I would like to dispel with the information this poll projects. This poll is absolutely junk and it is crap. No one in Texas knows who the hell Joaquin Castro is or Beto O'Rourke, unless you're a political junkie like we all are. I'll concede Ted Cruz isn't a safe R incumbent but Texas isn't a swing state, it won't be for a while he isn't leaving anywhere.

That's the point of campaigning, getting your name out there.

Polls also once said Hillary would win Kentucky.

This poll is so wrong.

This is total garbage. Isn't this also the same polling firm that had Trump doing better than Rubio against Clinton, Clinton up 7 against Rubio, and Obama being viewed favorably by 50% of Texas voters?
