2012 Republican Party Home States

On the election results page for the 2012 Republican Party primary it lists the home states of both Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich as being Virginia. Shouldn't it be Pennsylvania and Georgia respectively?

I believe they were both living in Virginia at the time the primaries occurred.

a persons place of residence is defined as where they reside when they run for office, not where they held elected office
