Pretty much everybody in the Metro Detroit TV market has seen his "Clear vision for America 2020" campaign-sounding ads. How far do you think the failed 1998 Gubernatorial candidate would get in the primary?

I'd personally be shocked if he even voted for himself, too weak.

The main thing I associate him with is his trolling in the 2000 Republican presidential primary in Michigan, when he was basically encouraging Dems to vote McCain in the GOP primary in order to embarrass Gov. Engler (who had endorsed Bush).

Unless he can think of a way to garner some kind of national publicity, my guess is that Fieger 2020 resembles Buddy Roemer 2012: ignored by the national media, and not invited to any debates.

I'm rooting for him to be the Democratic Donald Trump. I'd love to see him be the take-no-prisoners candidate in the primary debates.

Buddy Roemer had actually won an election in his life. Don't lump him in with a no one. He's Mark Everson

Might Mr. Fieger have a position in Joe Biden's cabinet, or even on the Supreme Court? (He turns 70 late this year).

This guy appears to be the Saul Goodman of Michigan.

I don't see him getting too far, to say the least.

I didn't bump the thread.

I'm just saying I don't see Fieger ever getting far running for anything in any year.

And to be honest I just wanted to make the Saul Goodman connection.

We don't deserve someone as awe inspiring and cool as Geoffrey Fieger.
