North Dakota Republican congressman Kevin Cramer is reconsidering running against Heidi Heitkamp and many people consider that he would have a better chance against her than Tom Campbell since he has a higher name recognition than Campbell.

What would be the likelyhood of a Republican senatorial gain in North Dakota if Kevin Cramer runs for senate in 2018 and becomes the Republican senatorial nominee? Would he improve the GOP's chances?

So it's official : The Bismarck Tribune reported that Kevin Cramer just reversed course and will run for senate in 2018 against Heidi Heitkamp.

No wonder that the Koch Brothers are pro-choice just like Heitkamp who opposed the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act that prohibits a physician from performing an abortion on a woman after 20 weeks of pregnancy, except in certain cases of medical emergency, rape, or incest. It could help Cramer to portray Heitkamp as « too liberal » for North Dakota.

As Heitkamp announced today her vote against Kavanaugh's confirmation while 34 % of North Dakota voters said it would make them less likely to vote for Heitkamp, I think that Cramer is definitely going to win.
