Donald J. Trump‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump  4h4 hours ag
The Senate must go to a 51 vote majority instead of current 60 votes. Even parts of full Repeal need 60. 8 Dems control Senate. Crazy!

Donald J. Trump‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump  4h4 hours ago
With only a very small majority, the Republicans in the House & Senate need more victories next year since Dems totally obstruct, no votes!

Why yes Donald, it's called checks and balances, something I know he doesn't favor.

Senator Moron of Kansas will vote Yes to repeal

Lol at anyone who thought he cared about his voters

Murkowski says she's "not there yet", so who even knows anymore

Murkowski is a no.

You know, and maybe someone else out there on Atlas can answer this, I'm struggling to remember anything from history that a party in Congress worked on for 7 years and couldn't get it done due to ineptitude. CRA maybe but that was bipartisan and actually passed in the end. Anyone?

Any word yet from Heller and all the others?

No word yet and it doesn't matter since 3 R's are against it.

Of course this is dead, folks. This is simply a chance for so-called moderates to cast a meaningless no vote so you can tell the people back home how they stood up for their Medicare Dash Dash when the chips were not down, but still Dash Dash and for the True Believer faction to similarly vote Yes so they can avoid a primary Challenge from even crazier and meaner people.

Now, we move on to efforts at baking the tax structure even more regressive. Oh yay

Repeal and replace is dead. Any changes to it will have to plugged into the ACA language as it stands.

This senator is undoubtedly Orrin Hatch. He's been saying bs like this ever since Trump got elected. He's Donald's biggest fan girl.

The only response any Republican should get when complaining of political rudeness or anything like it is derisive laughter. After they impeach Trump, or at least boot him from their party and apologize to the nation, they can try to talk. Until then:

By the way, I think Mondale deserves everyone he was calling naïve for doubting the bill's passage an apology.

So when Trump says "let obamacare fail", he just means leaving it alone, right?

So according to this just released article, the current No's (total of 4) are 3 definite, and 1 other vote that is more than likely also No :
Senators Susan Collins of Maine, Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.
Senator Rob Portman of Ohio hinted strongly that he too would oppose it.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders won't even say definitively that Trump would sign repeal-only legislation if it were to somehow pass:

That is hilarious. McConnell just said this morning on the Senate floor that "President trump will sign it now."
So which is it ?
Who is the one looking like a fool ? McConnell, trump or both ?
At first, I thought only the administration was looking like a clownish circus. But it seems that the GOP in Congress decided to join The Big Top.

It's hilarious how the Republicans have now utterly failed on the one main issue they ran on for 6 years.

What a bunch of cucks.

Wow.

I must say that I was really thinking that some version of ObamaCare repeal would pass, as this is a republican caucus who approved DeVos, who is objectively and extremely unqualified for her position. Based on that, they should be lapdogs for Trump.  But they have decided not to be, and that is very admirable. I thank them and God for getting us to a place where the conversation has turned from repeal/replace to revision, which is where I have always believed the conversation should be.

What we need now is a president who's a dealmaker.
