In politics, appearance matters. It mattered in 1960, youthful, dashing Massachusetts Sen. John F. Kennedy. In 1980, good-looking former California Gov. Ronald Reagan. In 1992, youthful Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton. In 2008, youthful Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.

Yes, good-looks don't hurt in politics. However, a type of image could hinder is the smug, frat boy/sorority girl image. Which 2020 candidates run the risk of having that image?

I'm not sure what to make of this question... Many people in politics & not in politics were in fraternities & sororities... and at a wide variety of schools.  I don't see any credible inferences to draw from such involvement.

What I mean is which candidate runs the risk of having that "smug" image--in both parties?
