I actually suspect we had a coronavirus pandemic in the late 1980s. I remember a time there where there was definitely something going around for probably several years.

i’ve been on here on and off for like 10 years, this is one of the only (earnest, too) posts that I read and audibly laughed at.

In college I got this idea that I could mix vodka with ramen noodles.

Don't try that.

I believe this was the casus belli for the Russo-Japanese War.

I’m worried that Republicans will nominate Bob Dole [in 2024] in order to exploit Mondale’s youth and inexperience.

You don’t have to worry about any of this anymore!

This forum needs order. Order to bring about stability. The parties are splintering and a dense fog of confusion has settled. Reaganfan is the light that can bring what we want most back to the forums, stability and fun. We must not let the party split further. We must not lose the conservative roots that politics was built on.

If you want stability, vote Reaganfan. If you want this forum to be a place to have fun, vote Reaganfan. And if you want this forum to survive and prosper, vote Reaganfan for a more prosperous tomorrow!

This one is sig-worthy!

Moderating posts for being “Inappropriate” is dumb. My question asking if people would support assassinating Cruz/Hawley if it meant Democrats could pass their agenda was deleted and infracted, while hypotheticals including banning all abortion are allowed. To some people (such as Texasgurl) suggesting banning all abortion would be far more disturbing than assassinating Cruz/Hawley, yet only one of these is allowed? Make it make sense.

Imagine having this much of a lack of self-awareness
How so?

Most pollsters don't realize we have Blk Senate candidates running and they're gonna benefit from a Blk female justice and some say that 50 is too old to be Justice Obama, Kagen, Sotomayor and Harris were all 60 or older and Harris is 55

You have to have 10/15 yrs expertise to be a Justice from being a lawyer and most are waiting longer to go to Law school

Barnes benefits the most and Chambers they're taking on incumbent party

Alot of users still think LS is safe R, lol Kennedy won't run up the score with multiple candidates, and Warnock won with multiple candidates he needed a runoff to win the same gonna happen to Chambers👍👍👍

Expecting your partner to respect your privacy is too much, but asking them to sign an NDA like intimacy is now some bizarre business contract is not??
Leonardo DiCaprio had some of his partners sign an NDA. It's not completely unheard of.

It's hilarious that users in this forum think that Whitmer can be defeated but McCrory, Mandel and DeSantis are up by the same margin as Whitmer 45)41 but we got an R Nut map that willl not happen with 3.0 unemployment and 5.0 GDP rate that says all incumbent D Govs in the rust belt are gonna be defeated, HA, HA HA

Don't forget Bush W in 2004 narrowly defeated Kerry after 911 the unemployment rate was at 6.0 percent and it went back up to 8 percent that's why McCain loss

An incumbent party never loss when unemployment is back to normal

Civiqu polls are pure TRASH but even those are going up to 40)45 Biden is at 50/48 Job  Appovals and 43/50 on Job Performance and always have been on ZOGBY and he was in freefall due to uncertainty in the Fall about SSA checks being mailed out during Debt Ceiling crisis

But McConnell made a deal because if Manchin and Sinema gotten rid of Filibuster it was a free pass for them to do it on Voting Rights

Regarding the proposed legalization of Revenge porn.

Well, I still find it strange when you can see each other nude in person anyway. If you want privacy, have your partner sign an NDA.

Fiduciaries have implied legal duties to one another, and one such duty is not disclosing private information. If it helps you understand humans better, just imagine that the romantic relationship is a business transaction and the nude photos are trade secrets.

Ok but only if Stephen Breyer is appointed to replace Kamala Harris so that they can film a TikTok video of them switching clothes with each other in a hilarious dance routine

I live in the anarchist enclave of Washington DC. Everyone here is required to bow down to a statue of Lenin and Bernie Sanders making out with eachother three times per day, the Soviet Anthem plays in the background fifteen minutes before the prayer is required. Also the stores are empty, you can only get food from smuggling in through NOVA, unless its raining down there, then you just have to scavenge/forage in parks. I ate grass soup last week two days straight (it's good with some pepper spray I stole from the non-existent police)

If you are caught not wearing a full N-95 mask at any point (even while eating and sleeping) you are forcibly thrown into the Anacostia River with cement shoes. My roommate was punished last week after I made up a lie about not wearing one. That means I now have a full room to myself Smiley

Democrats, meanwhile, operate as an incredibly united and forward-looking front when it comes to voting Democratic/defending Democrats no matter what — they might have (minor) ideological disagreements as well, but they’ll always follow the "party first, ideology/person last" model, even on the most controversial issues and figures, in order to actually see their goals become policy and their world view remain the status quo.

Democrats are just remarkably organized and known for sticking together on an unprecedented scale (in part because their ideology subordinates individual identity to the collective state/party apparatus). It is probably the best organized, most cohesive major political party in the Western Hemisphere, and they’ve long been united in letting nothing get in the way of their front

[Context Needed]
easy one.

Bush!  Kerry doesn't have a prayer at the nomination.  He was outflanked to the left by Dean, Clark has him on Military credentials and Kerry for being in the Senate 19 years! doesn't have a huge accomplishment for his service there.

President Bush has delivered on tax cuts, prescription drugs, farm bill, ed bill, capture of Saddam, removal of the taliban and removal of WMDS from Libya.

Yeah, Kerry came at Dean like he was texting while driving and totally killed him.

Needed to save this before The Mods overreact

That moment when your greatest moral triumph is actually a moral failure.

I assume you haven't posted about your own moral triumph because the fertilizer bomb isn't finished yet.
