These two are like the posterboys for the Democrats and Republicans, or at least Sanford is appearing to be one.  They are both fairly popular governors (not overly popular) who are not too radical, yet just conservative or liberal enough for their own party.

This should have been Freudenthal or Schweitzer vs. any New England Gov or Linda Lingle. Smiley
