Hypothetically speaking, Kanye West wins the Democratic nomination, and some high-profile Democrat (i.e. Warren, Sanders, Booker, Gabbard, etc.) decides to launch an independent campaign. The 2020 Republican primaries were unopposed for Trump, and his approval rating is 55-60%, depending on the poll. What would your predictions for such a scenario look like?

% Democratic:Kanye managed to really stumble nationwide, only winning two states (plus DC) and only getting numbers higher than 40% in four states (CA, NV, FL, and DE). Besides CA and MD, he generally performed the best in states where Sanders/Warren wasn't on the ballot.
