Female Baby Boomer Trump voters (esp in Swing States)... will not abandon Trump in 2020... almost regardless of what he does over the next 4 years.

The CNN Arizona Female-Trump Panel is a good example (They seem to mirror female Trump voters of the same age that I know in NC... including my mother who is an Obama-Trump voter).

I think if Dems want to win in 2020.. they can't rely on winning over these voters.  Instead they will need to Turn out more (esp female) minorities & Millennials (& get a slightly higher % of Latinos that vote).

Dems still need to show up in rural areas out of principle (to make the case Trickle Down economics, A School Voucher educational system, etc are destructive for rural areas)... But don't count on Rural Trump voters or Female Trump Voters .... voting dem in 2020.

Its probably more about turnout than swinging votes. Maybe some if the Trump people will not turnout and maybe we can get new people to vote and get people who just didn't like Hillary.

Good luck explaining to rural voters how school vouchers would hurt them, they have the poorest school districts and watch all the federal money pour into the inner cities while they get left out.

Good luck explaining to rural voters how school vouchers would hurt them, they have the poorest school districts and watch all the federal money pour into the inner cities while they get left out.

Rural areas don't have multiple school options to choose from (at which to use these vouchers)- A strong Public School system is essential in rural areas... And rural areas would benefit from a Secretary of Education more devoted to fixing and improving Public Education... rather than one who is more focused on how to implement voucher programs across the country (to be used at schools with no accountability).

Believe me- in NC (a strong Public Education supporter state), rural voters do not need to be convinced of this. Even the die hard Trump voters I know (and still love Trump)... think DeVos would be a disaster.  This is the 1 single area I have found some are willing to dissent from Trump.

... one of these Trump Voters said Trump better be careful... that in 2020, "DeVos" could be a codeword like "common core" ... enough to lead to Trump losing NC. (Part of the reason Pat McCrory lost the Gubernatorial race (in addition to bathroom bill) was due to being unpopular with Public School teachers & Education voters).
