Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) joined 26 Members of Congress in introducing the Return to Prudent Banking Act today. The bipartisan legislation, endorsed by Public Citizen and the AFL-CIO, would reinstate important consumer protections put in place after the Great Depression and require separation between commercial and investment banking.

Repealing it allowed too-big-to-fail banks to gamble with the savings and livelihoods of the American people, with devastating, irrevocable consequences. I don't really know much about this, so I'd need to learn more about this to form a complete opinion (just because you like a candidate, doesn't mean you need to agree 100% and all the time).

Trump has flipped on all of his campaign promises - Actual Infra spending, Medicare negotiating Drug prices etc etc - So no big deal!

It also probably won't address the new regulatory needs of the banking industry. That being said, any major push for further regulation and breaking up of big finance is an absolute plus, even if a few people I don't like are signing on to it.
