With the rise of the Women's Marches, the airport marches this afternoon, calls made to Congress, etc., is it safe to say that more Americans realize the magnitude of what staying home on Election Day means?

Could we see Presidential-level turnout in November 2018, and much higher-than-normal turnout (yes, exceeding 2008 levels) for a Presidential year in 2020?

Republicans will lose House seats in 2018. But the people who wanted to vote for HRC did so.

The apathy was enormous, so it took an enormous event to shake it.

I think in 2020 we could see 63-67% turnout.

Some people will not care. We have to protect this country. We can't allow anyone to come in this country without questioning their motives. How the hell do you think the 19 hijackers got away with 9/11.

Most likely 50-54%. Some Americans just don't care. Period.

As I've said, time will tell. It will take patience, and people will need clear goals in mind.

Hispanics will probably take note of this as they are next on his list.  For some reason he hasn't really targeted blacks or gays but they already turn out.
Both sides do it. Some Democrats scare whites, and some Republicans scare minorities. Period. Both sides do it.

the turnout in and around big cities is going to be massive in 2018 for an off year election.  This will probably even have impacts on state races in 2017.

It will really show Trump if José Serrano holds his Republican opponent to 3% again. Yeah, there are some wasted votes there.

Indeed, in fact, I will probably never vote Republican again. Only Libertarian and Democratic.
