Is it possible that in 2020 that Julian Castro could rise to the presidency despite his lack of experience like Obama did in 2008? If he did how could he do it? Who would be his best vp choice to pull it off? What would a Julian Castro map look like?

Castro doesn't have a fraction of Obamas charisma or ability to articulate a unifying vision. I highly doubt he'll ever be the Democratic nominee, but he definitely won't be in 2020.

Obama was a sitting US senator that people knew. He may have been green but he had been senator for 4 years. Julian Castro is a former head of the most obscure cabinet office. Charisma aside, Obama had cut his teeth in the tough Chicago political world, Julian Castro skated into politics as a city councilman one year after getting his law degree, I don't think he's remotely prepared for a nationwide run

Depends on the Senate races in 2018 and what the elections especially in AZ,NV and TX are like. If there is a Latino rise against Trump, they Julian Castro can be the answer
