Both have been talked about for President, but I'm assuming only one (if that) will run. So who would you rather have as the nominee.

Lean Klobuchar for me.

Franken.

2014 proved how good he was at SELLING the tenants of leftism and Obamacare and not withering away like coward.

And when it comes to campaigning, he's the only one likely to completely take on Trump through everything. Not take the bait (standard politician), not play it safe and try to make Trump fall on himself and play it as self-evident (Hillary Clinton), but completely take him on.

And since he was an actor, he'd obviously be telegenic as heck.

...Pity he probably won't run.

I really like Klobuchar, but Franken would be better at countering Trump than perhaps any other Democrat, and I think he could bridge the gaps between various factions in the party more effectively than other candidates. I don't think he has any interest in running though.

If Bernie doesn't run, I could see people rallying around Franken with the selling point of "He's Bernie with charisma"

As a nominee, Franken. As a President, Klobuchar.

Basically, I think Franken would be a better campaigner, but I'm pretty close to Amy Klobuchar politically, as much as I've seen of her views.

Franken. Klobuchar's anti-Russian tour with McCain and Graham was reprehensible.

Franken is no Bernie.  Not even close.

No, but he's someone who could step into that void if Bernie declines to run.

I don't think Al Franken will run but he would be awesome if he ran, I think he'd be on alot of shortlist though for VP. Amy is great, Everytime I watch her I do think Presidential, she's very comfortable I. Interviews and as a perso.

Klobuchar, obviously. But women are judged more harshly than men whether people realize they're doing it or not; she just doesn't "feel" right.

I like Klobuchar and I think she'd be a pretty good nominee and President. The thing I'm scared with concerning Franken is his past stuff being a comedian and whether a ton of people find it condescending or not.

I think Franken is better fit to be a Senator than President.

No, Franken is hated by Berniecrats for his disgusting behavior during the primaries.  Klobuchar is much closer to what Bernie represents than Franken.

I dont have much of an opinion of Klobuchar, but I've seen quite a bit of Franken in recent weeks and I've been very impressed.

Who?  Hillary?  No of course not.  He was one of her biggest cheerleaders.

I don't recall him ever going negative on Bernie Sanders. He supported HRC because they agreed on the issues and that's what he stressed. It's not like Claire McCaskill calling him a socialist on cable TV or anything.
