And people seriously want this a-hole to run for President?  He's just as bad as Trump.

Mark Zuckerberg is the poster child for why taxes on the rich need to be massively increased.

I actually agree,  I can't stand Zuckerberg.   Just because he gives self-righteous speeches about climate change and such doesn't mean he's a good person.

It's my impression that most people on the left don't like Zuckerberg. Then again, I'm guessing plenty of people on the right didn't like Trump in 2013, so you never know.

So if Zuckerberg runs for POTUS, does Hawaii vote Republican?

Probably Jill Stein or some other third party leftist.

Utah didn't vote Democratic even though by your logic it should've.

He reminds me of Howard Schultz with the constant self righteous political grandstanding( like the attempted cracking down on fake news) that always seems to blow up in his face

Zuckerberg could be the new Michael Bloomberg. Too right-wing economically for most Democrats, too left-wing socially for most Republicans. His only chance is to become mayor of a big city. Bloomberg's only chance was NYC, I can imagine Zuckerberg trying to become mayor of San Francisco or Palo Alto.

Frankly the fact that he created that cesspool of a website is enough reason to despise the man. Though Jack Dorsey might be even worse.

Have any of you guys even read Zuckerberg's response? His argument seems pretty compelling.

I just read the FOX News take on this, since they're much more digestible than Jimmy Dore. It's a really weird court case all around that somehow involves people "owning parcels of land" on Zuckerberg's "property." As far as I can tell, it sounds like the property lines where he lives don't necessarily line up, and two completely unrelated people can own one piece of land unintentionally. That being said, I don't know if suing them is the most diplomatic way he could have gone about this, especially since this conflict started over a fence which one of these co-owners/neighbors thought was an eyesore.

No offense, but you shouldn't get your information from Fox News.  You and Fox News and Mark Zuckerberg clearly don't understand how things work in Hawaii.

Trust me, I don't, on either your first sentence or your second sentence. I just searched "Zuckerberg sues Hawaiian families" and it was the first one that popped up that wasn't some opinion piece. Do you have a better summary of the situation?

You shouldn't get your "news" from a blowhard like Jimmy Dore either.

If he and Fox News and Mark Zuckerberg "don't understand how things work in Hawaii" then please explain it instead of just blowing it off like that. I'm not intending to defend Zuckerberg FYI, I just can't stand that jackass Dore.

To explain it in very simple terms, Native Hawaiians are allowed to live in certain areas even if those areas are owned by multibillionaires.  The same is true for Lanai which is fully owned by Larry Ellison but has a population of more than 3,000 people as well as other areas.  If Zuckerberg didn't like that he shouldn't have bought that particular piece of land.

Unfortunately, Mark Zuckerberg winning the Democratic primaries in 2020 is much more likely to happen than you guys think it is.

True. People like him are the future of the Democratic Party IMO.

There is no way this kind of democrats could win the Rust Belt, so it's not viable at the presidential level for the next decade. I hope the technocrats CEO won't take over the Democratic Party.
