The ideology of the next Republican nominee for president

My Guess for the next Republican nominee is maybe Nikki Haley.  I could see her overperforming in the primary.  Although not sure how she would hold up in the General.

I don't think Pence will ever be the nominee.  (esp since I seriously doubt Trump will win re-elections... And not even sure if he will want to after 4 years)

I really think the Libertarian wing can make noise, Trump/Pence is a fusion of Populist/Social Conservative and Pence isn't going to get through to this upcoming generation of voters. True Libertarianism is sexy to most voters but common sense on how government works holds them back. Just depends how Trump's presidency works out.
