If Bernie doesn't run the candidate will most likely be a woman from the midwest: Debbie Stabenow, Amy Klobuchar or Tammy Baldwin.

I've come to like Amy Klobuchar more lately, so I'd be okay if she ran and won the nomination.

Okay, what is with people fawning over Biden? He's a bit left of Obama, sure, but he's not some anti-establishment crusader. He said he has "no intention" of running, which got much less coverage than when he joked about declaring. He would basically be more Obama, which isn't that strong of a message. He doesn't really stand out from the crowd, other than that he will have been VP four years ago.

Bernie.

I would sell my soul for a John Bel Edwards candidacy.

Bernie.

Biden has a way of uniting people by causing pointless criticism. Obama tries to avoid pointless criticism, as he seems to be vulnerable to criticism in general. The former method unites people, whereas the latter tends to make people focus on real criticism.

Biden is quite a bit more moderate than Obama, more respected, and he has gravitas on a level unseen in generations.

It isn't going to happen.  The 2020 primary will begin when Edwards will be running for re-election.  If he loses, there's no point in running for president.  If he wins, it will look really bad if he immediately starts running for president (and even if he does do that, it might already be too late since other candidates may have already gained momentum).  I'm sorry to say this, but this wasn't a well thought-out poll.

He may have gravitas as you say, which is why Obama picked him as his running mate, but he ran for president twice and all he managed to do was make a fool of himself.  During the 2008 campaign he called Obama the first "clean" black candidate, he said he was proud Delaware was a slave state, and he made fun of Asian convenience store owners.  Also his foreign policy credentials are way overrated.

I consider myself a progressive. To my fellow progressives out there: STOP SUPPORTING TULSI GABBARD. SHE'S ANTI-IMMIGRANT, AN ISLAMOPHOBE, AND HAS TIES TO ANTI-LGBT GROUPS. Enough.

Booker is NOT the new Obama

and Sanders will probably run again. Age doesn't matter if you seem healthy and energetic. I know guys in their 80's who could pass as 60, and while Sanders does visibly look old (despite looking that way for 40 years) he acts young and healthy and energetic.

So it's confirmed Gabbard is a Russian puppet, right? Thanks.

No puppet, no puppet. You're the puppet.

Oh no I'm well aware of the impossibility of it. But I still would like to see Edwards make a run for the nomination eventually, whether it is 2020 or 2024.

Roy Cooper or Warren.

warren will do well in the North and Midwest, taking swing-states such as Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire whilst Roy Cooper will lose the Midwest but take North Carolina and Florida, winning him the election.

On the list, Warren. But if Al Franken ran I'd be with him till the end.

I would actually like to see a three-way, competitive primary between Warren, Biden and Edwards. It won't happen, but I think it would be the best primary the party has had in a very long time.
