He's very corrupt, and he challeneged Obama on too many issues in the past few years. I really hope he  gets taken down by Rush Holt in a primary.
I think Rush Holt might be done with politics. He is a smart guy even though he is very left-wing. He did beat "Watson" in Jeopardy!

I think it'll be like 2006. Kean or another Republican will give him a challenge but will lose, not because of them but because it is always hard for a Republican to win in New Jersey and it will be an anti-GOP midterm.

Somewhat vulnerable to a Democratic primary challenge. I'd vote against Menendez if I was a New Jersey voter.

NJ's inelastic, the GOP bench is horrible, and even in a GOP wave, Menendez wins.

I actually supported him over Booker him in the 2013 primary. Booker was too Wall Street friendly for me. Same problem Hillary had.

It would be best if he chose not to run.

Agree. He's way too corrupt.

Menendez is innocent until proven guilty. Just a reminder.

Since when does NJ care how corrupt its politicians are? Menendez is absolutely terrible of course, but he has a D next to his name and in a very blue state like NJ that's all that matters. Republicans are always told that "have a chance" in NJ Senate races (1994, 2000, 2002, 2006), and on election day they always lose by a lot. Now if Menendez was a Republican running in a red state, he'd be toast in 2018.

NJ likes corrupt politicians, but it doesn't like corrupt politicians that get caught.

Legally that's true, but he's so shady and sketchy and unseemly that he makes Lindsay Graham look like Sanders by comparison. Public opinion has a lower standard of proof, as Christie found out.
