I hate voters so much. Why couldn't they have all gone for Silva or Alckmin?

I guess I'm in for Haddad, as unlikely as his victory now seems.

What the hell is wrong with you two?

We literally have a Duterte running one of the most important countries in the world. Obviously Silva or Alckmin would have been ideal, but Haddad was just fine.

Duterte is better than Bolsonaro. At least Duterte cares for the poor - he signed a free college bill last year, for example.  Bolsonaro is an elitist fascist.
Don't be a Duterte apologist. Just don't.

(But yes, Bolsonaro really is vile.)

Everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. If only Lula (ugh) could have run and actually won, or if people cold have just not been collective idiots and voted for a sane, smart, respectable candidate, the world right now would be a much better place.

Moderator Note: edited out call for murdering politicians in line with longstanding forum policy (yes, even when they are murderous fascists themselves)
