Senate Foreign Relations Committee votes to send Haley UN Ambassador nomination to the Senate floor, and most Dems (including Booker) join the Republicans to vote in favor:

How? I thought Carson's inexperience and his hardcore conservative stances would make him hard to confirm.

The Senators are looking forward to four years of trolling him after he's confirmed.

Haley confirmed by the full Senate, with only four Senators voting no:

http://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-usa-congress-haley-idUKKBN1582G3?il=0

Sanders was one of the four “no” votes.  Booker, Brown, Harris, Klobuchar, and Warren all voted for confirmation.

Any Republican Senator from a Rural State should definitely vote against Devos (although I know they won't).... hopefully there are 2 that will!

Klobuchar's voted to confirm more of Trump's nominees than any other 2020 Dem. Senators so far, but she comments on the ones she's set to vote against in this tweet:

All the 2020ers (Booker, Gillibrand, Klobuchar, Sanders, Warren, etc.) voted against the Tillerson cloture motion.  The vote on the underlying confirmation itself will come later, but I assume they're all no on that as well.

Rick Perry approved in committee by 16-7, and Sanders was one of the no votes:

Oh, and they voted 16-6 (I guess someone abstained?) to approve Zinke, and Sanders was again one of the no's:

DeVos approved in committee on a party line vote.  Both Sanders and Warren are on that committee, so both voted no.

The Senate has approved Elaine Chao as Secretary of Transportation.  Voting is going on right now, and the current vote is 85-5, with Harris and Klobuchar among the yes votes, while Gillibrand, Sanders, and Warren are among the no votes.

But voting is still underway, and I don't think Booker has showed up yet.

Booker voted no on Chao as well.  Current vote is 90-6, with two thirds of the 6 no's being prospective 2020 presidential candidates (Booker, Gillibrand, Sanders, Warren).

Judiciary Committee approves Sessions on a party line vote, meaning that Klobuchar voted against.

Tillerson’s been confirmed by the Senate, with just a handful of Dems crossing over to support him.  All potential 2020ers (e.g., Booker, Brown, Gillibrand, Harris, Klobuchar, Sanders, Warren) voted against confirmation.

All the Dems voted against DeVos.  Shulkin got approved in the Veterans Affairs committee 15-0, meaning that both Brown and Sanders voted in favor:

McMahon confirmed as SBA administrator, with the vote being 81-19, so just over half the Democratic caucus voted to confirm.  Klobuchar was among the yes votes, while Booker, Brown, Gillibrand, Harris, Sanders, and Warren all voted no:

Ross nomination:

link

Brown and Klobuchar voted for confirmation, while Boooker, Gillibrand, Harris, Murphy, Sanders, and Warren all voted no.

Zinke nomination:

link

Brown and Murphy voted for confirmation, while Booker, Gillibrand, Harris, Klobuchar, Sanders, and Warren voted no.

Ben Carson cloture vote:

https://decisiondeskhq.com/vote-tracker/cloture-vote-on-dr-ben-carson-for-secretary-of-hud/

Brown voted yes, while Booker, Gillibrand, Harris, Klobuchar, Murphy, Sanders, and Warren voted no.

Warren's no vote came despite the fact that she voted for Carson in committee.

A Warren aide tells the Boston Globe on background why she voted against Carson on the Senate floor after voting for him in committee:

Not sure why he’s talking on background.  Why doesn’t someone just ask Warren this question on the record?

*bump*

Haven't posted in this for a while, but here's the confirmation vote on Perdue for Agriculture:

link

Only 11 no votes, and those 11 included Booker, Gillibrand, Harris, Sanders, and Warren.  I'm sure the overlap with the list of people thought to be considering a presidential run is purely coincidence.  Tongue
