Haha, I am not a huge Rendell fan and if the nominee is Scranton or Swann, I would consider myself an undecided voter.  But I will change my avatar to R-NJ for the next 24 hours in honor of this and the also-ran thread (see 2008 elections)

looks like rendell is not as solid as some like to pretend.

is this scranton guy the same guy that got beat way back in 1986 by bob casey sr.?  in other words, is he former governor scranton's son?

Yeah, it's him.  An interesting tidbit-he endorsed John Hagelin for president in 2000.
