Primary Mode:

Emily Peebleton - 295 new, 395 total
Tsumiki Harmon - 504 new, 769 total
Bobby Jones - 289 new, 797 total

GE Mode:

Frank Zappa gets 90 tokens to start off with. O'Houlihan doesn't get any more than his starting tokens because GE Mode hasn't officially started yet. It will start once the Democrats get a nominee.

SUPER TUESDAY RESULTS

The three campaigns watched anxiously as the results poured in. Harmon's watch party in Colorado cheered as Massachusetts was called for their candidate immediately after the polls closed, but grew nervous when the other states were reported as too early to call, and even more nervous as Virginia was labelled too close to call and early returns showed their candidate behind Emily Peebleton.

Peebleton's watch party in Georgia had an electric atmosphere as first Georgia and then Tennessee were called for their candidate. The attention shifted from Harmon's victories in Massachusetts and Alabama to the other states as networks spent hours on end questioning how Harmon vastly underperformed her poll numbers. Harmon supporters were shocked as Arkansas and Oklahoma, two states they were sure they had, drifted to Bobby Jones. Data dumps in the delegate-rich state of Texas constantly switched the state from a slim Harmon lead to a slim Jones lead. Colorado was called for Harmon amidst the tight races. Virginia and Texas were not called until well after midnight.

Alabama
Tsumiki Harmon 160,059   40.2%   24 delegates
Bobby Jones 133,781   33.6%   19 delegates
Emily Peebleton 98,345   24.7%   10 delegates

Arkansas
Bobby Jones 82,661   37.4%   13 delegates
Tsumiki Harmon 79,125   35.8%   12 delegates
Emily Peebleton 55,918   25.3%   6 delegates

Colorado
Tsumiki Harmon 59,284   48.0%   40 delegates
Bobby Jones 33,718   27.3%   16 delegates
Emily Peebleton 28,777   23.3%   10 delegates

Georgia
Emily Peebleton 316,862   41.4%   50 delegates
Tsumiki Harmon 274,001   35.8%   39 delegates
Bobby Jones 163,788   21.4%   13 delegates

Massachusetts
Tsumiki Harmon 618,690   50.7%   60 delegates
Emily Peebleton 295,312   24.2%   16 delegates
Bobby Jones 287,990   23.6%   15 delegates

Minnesota
Tsumiki Harmon 99,236   48.5%   47 delegates
Bobby Jones 52,994   25.9%   16 delegates
Emily Peebleton 50,334   24.6%   14 delegates

Oklahoma
Bobby Jones 136,016   40.5%   18 delegates
Tsumiki Harmon 121,575   36.2%   15 delegates
Emily Peebleton 74,893   22.3%   5 delegates

Tennessee
Emily Peebleton 150,378   40.4%   31 delegates
Tsumiki Harmon 126,928   34.1%   23 delegates
Bobby Jones 91,194   24.5%   13 delegates

Texas
Bobby Jones 551,384   38.4%   96 delegates
Tsumiki Harmon 537,025   37.4%   91 delegates
Emily Peebleton 334,564   23.3%   35 delegates

Vermont
Tsumiki Harmon 60,189   44.5%   9 delegates
Emily Peebleton 37,736   27.9%   4 delegates
Bobby Jones 36,113   26.7%   3 delegates

Virginia
Emily Peebleton 315,037   40.1%   44 delegates
Tsumiki Harmon 314,487   40.1%   44 delegates
Bobby Jones 148,373   18.9%   7 delegates

Tsumiki Harmon can request a recount, and while it has a chance of flipping the state, the delegate count likely won't change.

After the disappointing Super Tuesday performance, Bobby Jones dropped out. Like he promised, he donated 797 tokens to some charity. (Intell PMd me.)

Before we get to the results, here's a debate! Tsumiki Harmon and Emily Peebleton will have to answer these five questions. After repolling the states, I can say that the debate will decide all of them, except Puerto Rico because I have't polled that yet. There will only be one more debate after this. Anyway, time for questions (shamelessly stolen from a popular political quiz):

Opening Statements

Should the U.S. build a wall along the southern border?

Should immigrants be deported if they commit a serious crime?

What is your stance on abortion?

Should a photo ID be required to vote?

Do you support the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Leipcare)?

(to Harmon) Polls in the next primaries are rapidly tightening at the last minute. You under performed your Super Tuesday polls as well. Are you concerned about hat this may mean for the General Election?

(to Peebleton) You've made references to "Ds in my pants" at a campaign stop. Your campaign said you didn't know the microphone was on. Is this language right for a president?

DEBATE RESPONSES

Opening Statement:

These debates have shrunken quite a bit since the first haven't they? *laughs* In all seriousness, I'd like to start by thanking Senator Jones for a campaign well ran, I also must applaud his decision to donate his tokens. I wish him the best of luck in future endeavors. Now, let us focus on the matter at hand.

The fact that this is even seen as a valid solution by some is honestly concerning. Even looking past the amount of time and money such a thing would require, the fact that a wall would fail to account for sea and air travel, a waist of time and money, and would provide little help with the situation? I'll pass thank you.

Quote

Deportation would not be my first option per say. but a crime is a crime, if someone say, commits a murder, their punishment should be the same whether they are an immigrant or not.

Quote

I've spoken on this before so I'll keep it brief, a woman's body is her own, if they wish to have an abortion they should be free to do so.

This is but another ploy built to limit the less able from voting. To vote is a right granted to every citizen, stuff like photo ID laws are but unnecessary hurdles. I'd even go so far as to say that one should be able to vote as soon as they turn 18, with no need to go through a separate registration process.

Quote

I do yes. Is it perfect? No. Does it need more work? Yes. But so far it is the best medicare system our nation has had, and until a better system is provided, I would back Leipcare.

Quote

Polls can be a tricky thing, They generally give a good idea of the situation, but they can be wrong, just how it is. I refuse to let the polls chain myself. The only numbers that matter in the end are the ones counted in the ballots. I trust that I've done all I can to persuade voters that I am the best candidate, and will continue to do all I can up until November.

Closing statement:

For all of you soon to head to the voting booth, I hope this debate tonight has helped you decide this important choice. The Republican nominee has already basically been decided, and no doubt they're using the extra time planing for ether of us. That is why no matter who wins, we must stand together. Thank you for your time, and good night.

A winded Governor Peebleton bursts in shortly after Governor Harmon's answer to her stance on abortion, and begins her...

Alright. Sorry I'm late, the traffic was crazy. *chuckles* No? Okay. Anyway, I thank Senator Jones for being a worthy contender for the Presidency, and Governor Harmon for being a worthy final adversary in the race for the nomination. Now, let me catch up with the rest of you...

No. Absolutely not. Such a fiscally reckless plan isn't even efficient or a reasonable solution. What else are we going to do, build a wall on the Gulf to prevent sea travel? Prevent any Mexican planes from traveling directly into America and vice versa?

Deportation isn't the first choice I would go with, but a crime is a crime is a crime. I believe that if someone commits a serious crime, they should be treated the same way, immigrant or not.

This question has been asked many times, so I'll keep it simple this time. As a woman, I believe that we ought to have a right to choose what to do with our bodies.

No. We should prevent as many hurdles as we can in the voting process. Voting is a civic responsibility that any registered voter over the age of 18 should be allowed to take part in.

While I feel that it doesn't go far enough in some places, I support maintaining the parts of Leipcare that do, for it's the best healthcare system we've had in a long time.

My language, albeit crass, was part of a statement explaining that at the voting booth, no "D in one's pants" should matter. It distracts from the real issues. And besides, even if I had such needless waste cut, I can work to cut needless waste elsewhere, and invest in our domestic budget and the interests of the American people.

With Governor O'Houlihan having won the Republican nomination, his campaign staff is already using the extra campaign time to prepare strategies for both Governor Harmon and I. That being said, whoever wins the nomination needs to be prepared, and backed by a unified party. Thank you, and goodnight.

RESULTS

Harmon's campaign suffered the smallest blow possible last night as the results of four states, a territory, and a recount turned up only one win for her. Many say her debate performance saved her from losing it all, as the race tightened when Mississippi governor and former candidate Jefferson Galloway endorsed her main opponent, Emily Peebleton. All in all, Peebleton had a net gain of two delegates against her opponent as all of the states proved to be nail-bitingly close. However, only in Louisiana can the losing campaign request a recount.

Virginia Recount
Emily Peebleton 315,362
Tsumiki Harmon 314,730
Bobby Jones 148,617

Kansas
Emily Peebleton 19,654   50.1%   17 delegates
Tsumiki Harmon 19.576   49.9%   16 delegates

Louisiana
Emily Peebleton 154,329   49.5%   26 delegates
Tsumiki Harmon 153,706   49.3%   25 delegates

Nebraska
Emily Peebleton 16,797   50.2%   13 delegates
Tsumiki Harmon 16,663   49.8%   12 delegates

Maine
Tsumiki Harmon 1,804   52.0%   13 delegates
Emily Peebleton 1,658   47.8%   12 delegates

Puerto Rico
Emily Peebleton 44,163   50.1%   30 delegates
Tsumiki Harmon 43,634   49.5%   30 delegates

Dang, I was hoping the Democrats could get a presumptive nominee. We have two GE candidates waiting. Tongue
