Naturally in the era of COVOID-19 gotta give a shot out to the Working-Class Heroes keeping us safe, while meanwhile they are more likely to be exposed to the virus...

Essential workers driving trucks, working in the fields, postal workers, MFG workers, Postal Workers, Warehouse Workers, Cops, Firefighters, & Health Care Workers, & Farmers....

HELLO AMERICA.... LET ME THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME....

"Forty Hour Week (For A Livin')"

There are people in this country
Who work hard every day
Not for fame or fortune do they strive
But the fruits of their labor
Are worth more than their pay
And it's time a few of them were recognized.

Hello Detroit auto workers,
Let me thank you for your time
You work a forty hour week for a livin',
Just to send it on down the line
Hello Pittsburgh steel mill workers,
Let me thank you for your time
You work a forty hour week for a livin',
Just to send it on down the line.

This is for the one who swings the hammer,
Driving home the nail
Or the one behind the counter,
Ringing up the sale
Or the one who fights the fires,
The one who brings the mail
For everyone who works behind the scenes.

You can see them every morning
In the factories and the fields
In the city streets and the quiet country towns
Working together like spokes inside a wheel
They keep this country turning around.

Hello Kansas wheat field farmer,
Let me thank you for your time
You work a forty hour week for a livin',
Just to send it on down the line
Hello West Virginia coal miner,
Let me thank you for your time
You work a forty hour week for a livin',
Just to send it on down the line.

This is for the one who drives the big rig,
Up and down the road
Or the one out in the warehouse,
Bringing in the load
Or the waitress, the mechanic,
The policeman on patrol
For everyone who works behind the scenes.

With a spirit you can't replace with no machine
Hello America, let me thank you for your time...

Dragonforce-Last Man Stands

Quote
Nuclear meltdown the world uncertain from the
Power of the tragedy of man's creation
Rise from the suffering for our salvation
Fearless we stand strong till the end, at the trial of all our lives
Now say our final goodbyes

A truly underrated "prog pop" classic which eventually was made famous for being sampled in a Jason DeRulo song.

I've been listening to this thanks to the recent thread on early 18th century British politics. It's a truly wonderful satire on what a man had to do to keep his post in the constantly changing religious atmosphere of late Stuart and early Hanoverian England.

My selection is obviously much more sophisticated.  It's a wonderful satire on trumpets.  And it's catchy.

In my own mind I'm sticking to a theme here. But the video is mesmerizing.

Starts of with loud ear rape, but very interesting use of time signatures and chords later on in the softer part. Intriguing lyrics as well, but nothing to do with a baby. Sweety's/Darling's First Coffin is the meaning of the title I believe.

Although I haven't been a Vegetarian in over (20) Years, although my Wife became a Vegetarian shortly after we met about (15) Years back, and I have essentially viewed Meat more like a 1-2x/Week dietary item, it is becoming increasingly clear that the way in which humans treat animals has been a major cause of major diseases among humans.

The Factory Farm systems globally, where animals are penned together in close quarters in the slaughterhouses and meat-markets throughout the world, is considered a direct contributor to most of the major "Flu-Type" Pandemics that have caused massive amounts of Human Deaths from associated illnesses.

Additionally, not only do we have conditions where historically animals designed for human meat consumption have faced all sorts of abuses within the factory-farms of America (And elsewhere), but additionally, the question needs to be raised about how we treat fellow Human Beings within such conditions.

It is not an accident that some of the biggest COVID-19 hot-spots within the United States are also occurring within the same Factories where we treat animals with such brutality.

At this point, I am virtually on the edge of either quitting eating meat altogether or at minimum pledging to only buy "cruelty free", and "organic meat" in the interest of protecting not only animal rights, but also human rights.

If we're gonna talk about music about animal murder being wrong, this is an absolute f___ing CLASSIC by a nutjob that lives in Niagara Falls. The cringe is strong, but if you can fight past, you will eventually embrace the cringe and appreciate this much in the same way that you appreciate Tommy Wiseau's "The Room".

His name is John Sakars I believe. He has another song called "I'd Rather Suck A Vegan C___ Than Lick A Carnist V____a", and he did a POV up close video where he tells women to put the screen up to their genitals and watch him lick the camera and lick their "vegan v____a" (which he says multiple times in the video).

EDIT - LMAO okay I found this stuff. I'm gonna make a thread.

Me and my wife were just dancing to this song after she just got off work as an "essential worker", which was a song she used to dance to in the warehouses and meat-processing places in a massive large local grocery store not so many miles down the road....

And dreams that had never come true
The box would be empty
Except for the memory
Of how they were answered by you
