Before this election, there was always at least one chamber that was surprising that the Democrats still controlled. They lost the last of those, the Kentucky House. They don't have a single chamber in any of the Trump states. And it's not like they have the converse either, Republicans have both chambers of VA, MN, and NH, with 3-4 others (depending on NY) split, as well as a Republican caucus in the WA Senate.

So what? Democrats are the "rare" and "exclusive" party. We aren't meant to be everywhere. If we were everywhere, we would lose our luster as a party.

If you're trolling, it's not funny. If you've seriously forgotten how: Profile button (under the Hey, (display name), you have __ messages thing) -> forum profile information (on left side) -> Literally the first field from the top.

Yep, Democrats had a serious problem at the state-level even before 2016. There have been only seven legislatures in the land, where Democrats controlled both chambers. Gerrymandering is playing a serious role with that, but we also have to think about solutions to fix the problem of low voter turnout, in midterm/off-year elections in particular.
