I heard a story from a friend who goes to Ben Cardin's synagogue about how Cardin attends every service that he is available to attend. He always donates and always says Hi and talks with every congregant. It's part of why I like him. I've heard so many stories about his generosity and communal kinship. I think in that case, if a person is always there and is a consistent supporter via tzedakah  and is a beloved member of the community then its ok to give them some seat preference.

But not if some rich a-hole shows up once a year and buys his way to a good seat.

I got into his Costa Mesa rally back in April by accidentally cuttting the line. The same thing happened there as well with the stadium filling up quickly.

I hate it when people decide to go on a gluten-free diet if they don't actually have digestive problems with gluten. No one should have to try to go out of their way at parties and stuff to make gluten-free stuff for the good of some moron who buys into the idea that gluten is actually unhealthy because certain people ACTUALLY can't eat it.

My roommates never do the god damn dishes and I'm the busiest out of all of them...but I'm the only person who does them.

Totally awful for the environment but I started using paper plates and forks and stuff, they started doing it after that because they didn't have any dishes left. They were pissed, but at that point I didn't care since they were too damn lazy to do simple household chores without being told by their parents. This was in college, on the back half.

My minor annoyance is dirty smokers. Seriously, swallow the toxins faster to send yourself on your way so we don't have to smell the death sticks any longer.
