What about with a 10% threshold and/or 2 EVs to the state winner?

I thought it was interesting that under the most proportional system short of a national popular vote, Trump still manages to obtain a plurality (and presumably win the election in the House). Presumably any other modification would give Trump even more of an advantage.

10% threshold: Clinton 270 Trump 267 McMullin 1 (I stand corrected)
2 EVs to state winner: Trump 267 Clinton 259 Johnson 10 Stein 1 McMullin 1
Both: Trump 272 Clinton 265 McMullin 1
Surplus to state winner: Clinton 268 Trump 266 Johnson 2 Stein 1 McMullin 1 ("" "")

In your first distribution what PR system have you used?

Purely proportional. Every candidate gets the floor of the total electoral votes multiplied by their vote share, and then remaining electoral votes are distributed in order of whom has the most surplus.
