Kevin Raye, Garrett Mason, Peter Cianchette, or Kenneth Fredette could run for Poliquin's seat. Anyone just about would be better than LePage.

I like Kevin Raye, great guy, but I think he's been given enough chances.

Raye seemed like a good fit for old Maine, but seems like a bad fit for whatever Maine's become.

While it is not completely related, State Sen. Eric Brakey is looking at making a run against Angus King for Senate in 2018. This could force some Republicans to change plans, as mentioned in the Bangor Daily News today.
