His gay porn past also make it unlikely he is picked as well.  But who knows, Trump might not vet him and he gets picked.

His what now?
I thought people knew this.  He was photographed when he was 19 or 20 for some gay porn magazine.  It was all over gay news when his name was put up as one of the possible picks back in March or April.

Gonna go ahead and say he taps Garland.

I'm getting this feeling that Trump is going to piss off the entire conservative movement.

I think at most, he'll meet with Garland and then go with a different choice.  It's not impossible he'd renominate him, but a meeting with Garland is likely as much of a bone to the Dems as he'll give on SCOTUS.

Neil Gorsuch seems like the best on this list. John Tyler Hammons would be good if he serves a few years as Solicitor General, Oklahoma Chief Justice, or District Attorney for a few years first.

Any insight on Gorsuch's history of jurisprudence?

I understand that he clerked for Kennedy and was very, very uncontroversial. Ken Salazar was one of his two strongest backers. Gorsuch was nominated by voice vote, with no nays heard, if I understand correctly. Gorsuch was praised by Jeff Flake's counsel(for being pro-life).

FWIW him and Tymkovich (who I know little of) seem to have emerged as front runners. Hopefully they're more Kennedy than Scalia

CNN was reporting that there is a list circulating through conservative circles in the Senate on who to pick. I'm betting it'll be Pryor.

Sen. Cruz for SCOTUS? Sen. Graham says it's a possibility. Calls Texan "young and in the mold of Scalia."

Cruz was at Trump Tower today.

Color me skeptical. I think Graham just wants to get rid of Cruz

As does everyone else in the senate. If Cruz is willing, he'd be confirmed 99-0.
