According to a friend of mine a particular Gay Bar does the cheapest drinks in London - though I don't think his girlfriend likes him asking the barman for a "Blowjob" (Bailey's, Kalua (sp?) and whipped cream)

I personally would respond that I don't dance (which in general I don't at parties - only have once in the last few years after much urging by my girlfriend). Or alternatively try to wind my girlfriend up as much as possible (lots of people already think I am gay and thus feel sorry for her Smiley).

Oreston

I am a Christian & have no problem with my faith & strong in my faith, but I don't think their is anything wrong with homosexuals.  Just ebcause something is in the bible doesn't make it relevant in our society now

For example, do you believe in this crap :

Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward" (1 Peter 2:1. "Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ" (Ephesians 6:5).

“If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing. If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him. If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master’s, and he shall go out by himself. And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free: Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever” (Exodus 21:2-6).

and And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do. If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation, he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her. And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters. If he take him another wife: her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish” (Exodus 21:7-10).

"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church" (1 Corinthians 14:34-35).

Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression" (1 Timothy 2:11-14).

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their husbands in every thing" (Ephesians 5:22-24).

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord" (Colossians 3:1.

You can't say you have faith in Christianity and dismiss the teachings of the New Testament at the same time.  If the New Testament is not the Word of God, then Christianity is a lie.

I believe sexuality is a choice or a pscychological condition set it by years of sexual choices that cause a certain mindset.  You believe it is genetic.  That is our disagreement.

I knew this guy who was sexually abused by his father at a young age and because of that he was grown into being gay.  It wasn't really his choice, now was it?

I still like that Preston brings bibles with him when he goes to bars.  I can just imagine the pick up lines:

"I love your body, and Jesus does too."

That's about the most ignorant thing I've ever heard.  Either it's true or not.  You're saying because human culture has drifted one way that god's word should follow with it.  You don't really stand by Christ if you believe that.

Response 80% of the time would be "I don't date preists"

And the other 20% - "I don't date 14 year olds"

Apparentely. I'm a Christian and even I recognize that some of the things in the Bible are -- just a LITTLE out of date.

Preston in a bar with a bible is still hilarious though.

"Can I buy you a drink?"

"No! Get away! Jesus Christ!"

lol
Scenario 2:

"Can I buy you a drink?"

*Preston whips out Holy water and throws it on him* "The power of Christ Compels you! The power of Christ compels you!"

Your so full of crap.  Just becasue someone doesn't believe the bible word for word doesn't mean their is a problem with their Christianity.  Their are so mme things in the bible that is other hideous (belief in slavery, that women should be treated as second class citizens & must submit to the husbands) most of what is in the bible is good & should be lived, but bottom line it was written 2000 years ago times change, some things are just totally irrelevent now.

Its not simmply black & white.  Why don't you address some of the other versuses I brought up.  Do you think slavery is ok??  Do you think forcing women to submit to their husbands is a good thing??

I believe in the over all teachings of the bible, treats others with RESPECT, the way yo want to be treated.  Things like that, not spitting on a whole segment of the population because one part of a book is against the.  The bible was NEVER meant to be taken literally.  While overall the bible is good their are certain parts hat are just crap

Man, imagine if I took Preston out one night with my friends. Now wouldn't that be interesting! I wonder what he'd say to the strippers (for the record I have seen quite a few strippers with cross necklaces and religious tattoos)

Anyway Preston, you're going to have a very boring time in college, or a reality check. For most people, it's option 2.

P.S. I'm a Christian. Lighten up.

What kind of thing is that to say?  You can't dismiss parts of the bible and accept other!  You don't have the authority to do that.  Every part is inspired directly inspired by God or the whole thing is bunk.  You can't have cotton-candy Christianity, that you mold for your own lifestyle.

Tell me, do you honestly believe that what you do commonly is moral?  Just answer me that.  Do you actually believe in your heart that you are doing the right thing?  I don't think anyone's moral compass is that skewed.

Whether you look at a girl and think "nice body" or actually sleep with her is the same thing: sin.  No one is perfect.
