Called it. Johnson was never going to get Blanched in a polarized swing state like WI, like most people here predicted.

Oh yeah? Watch him get blanched on Tuesday.

I think he's going to lose, not by Blanche levels though.

I think Feingold wins by about the same margin he lost by here. Democrats usually beat their polls by a few points in Wisconsin.

It will be funny to see Toomey lose by more than Johnson though.

well Johnson did seem to out-perform Toomey anyways, in a strange turn of events.

Feingold was an uninspiring candidate, and way too far left for the center-right state of Wisconsin.  I called it!

And yet he won a third term in 2004 by a double-digit margin.

2004 was a lifetime ago.  That was before Democrats turned on their own voters.

2004 was also an election where the Republicans won a majority of the popular vote at the presidential level, against a Democratic nominee who personified out-of-touch liberal elitism far better than Obama or even Hillary did.

Yeah, Michels was not a serious candidate. He did end up winning many counties in the eastern half of the state, and got 44% of the vote, though.

rofl

Wisconsin is the most polarized state in the country.  Johnson votes like a senator from Texas the same way Baldwin votes like a senator from California.

Wisconsin has really turned to the dark side as of late. Ron Johnson is a vile slimeball who doesn't deserve to represent a pile of dirt.

This. If McCaskill can represent MO in the Senate, then Johnson sure as hell can represent WI.

So, you'd have no problem with her getting re-elected as well, then? Great. Smiley

Well, WI is at least a swing state and already has a very liberal Senator. Smiley Anyway, at least Johnson is not a fake moderate, unlike so many other Senators. You have to give him credit for that.

So... you're okay with Baldwin winning, then? Look, I don't hate Johnson because of which state he's from, I hate him because he goes against pretty much everything I stand for. I'll take a fake moderate over a far right slimeball. Conservatives can do better than him.

I don't agree with her on many things, but yeah, I'd rather see her win than Heitkamp, Tester or McCaskill (LOL).

That's... interesting. I mean, Tester and McCaskill aren't really moderate per se, but if you prefer Senators who are decidedly liberal to those who aren't quite as left-leaning, that's your call to make.

After seeing missouri vote for Trump by over 19 points, I see McCaskill getting Blanched easily.

You keep saying "slimeball" about a squeaky clean earnest boy scout who just defeated (for the 2nd time) possibly the biggest phony, smug, a-hole in the country.
Where do you get slimeball from?
