Can't you freaks just post the state, candidate ahead and the margin for your title so we non-nerds can just scan the titles instead of clicking on the threads and being exposed to tons of scalding hot takes? Wink

I don't mind seeing openly pro-choice Republicans lose, so this doesn't bother me at all.

God, this attitude is infuriating.  Better have a pro-choice Democratic hack to make a point?  Jesus CHRIST.

Not everyone shares the same priorities that you do.

What, Republican majorities??  You can't win by being a rural, ideologically rigid party.  Period.

IL isn't electing a folksy evangelical Republican.  Period.  Maine isn't electing a super pro-life Republican.  You HAVE to tailor your candidates to the region.

Because you rather have a pro-choice senator who votes the wrong way on all other issues too?

I spoke a little hyperbolically.  I would still support Kirk over Ducksorth, but it doesn't make me as sad to see him lose than a pro-life Senator.

Fair enough (I'd be much sadder to see Collins lose re-election than I would to see Cruz lose re-election).  But the reality we have is that Cruz isn't getting elected in Illinois, just as Duckworth isn't getting elected in Arkansas.
