That is also the reason why i have been releasing my wrath on Canada lately! Just because we're easier to make fun of in America, or should i say THE UNITED STATES??
Last time i checked Mexique was right below canada in overall GDP produced by the nation!dont believe me? TAKE A LOOK!

Um not really...

$1,098,446 for Canada
$714,530 for Mexico

not taking in the fact that mexico has 3 times more people than Canada, putting the per capita GDP at...

Canada $34,028
Mexico $6,771

yeah, right below us indeed!

Below i got from the CIA website

Canada  $ 31,500

Mexico  $ 9,600  (2004 est.)

where did you get that Bullsh**t GDP??? was that from like the 1970's?

and this is the overall

Canada  $ 1,023,000,000,000  (2004 est.)

Mexico  $ 1,006,000,000,000

And most of the developed world has very healthy people, due in part to this.
Obesity, heart attacks, diabetes, osteoporosis, cholesterol problems, etc., is health?  Did you know that the majority of elderly people in western society take some form of chronic medication, and they're more diseased and sick than most of the elderly people in developing countries?

Read it for yourself.  One book that explores the topic is The China Study.

Obviously, the response you'll get for emergencies and non-chronic related health care is vastly better in the first world, for most part.  That I won't disagree with.  (I also don't consider Canada to be a "first world" nation in health care.  We had better service in Thailand.)

Now Mexican dude, get a refund on your education.  I wouldn't be very proud of Mexico being slighly below (err, try 66% of Canada) in terms of GDP.  Considering you have 3x more people as Senior Canadian up there explained.  That makes you guys... very, very unproductive and lazy.

Okay, so our GDP per capita is only a little over three and a quarter times your size; that still isn't really that good of a comparison.

Look, Tonto, StatesRights here has a point.  If Mexico is so wonderful (and this goes double for Canada), why are the people so anxious to move to the United States?  Why work for the white man?  Do you require the white man to make a living?

You do realize that you're basically making yourself into a bigger and bigger target the more vehemently you attack everyone else and defend Mexico, don't you?  Loving one's country does not require you to not admit any fault in it whatsoever.  It's not healthy to be so patriotic that you blatantly ignore basic facts about your country.

Please, senior, calm down.  10 million illegal aliens say differently.  It is the same thing all over the world: people with skill and ambition want to move to the United States.  I don't have anything against the Mexicans that want to move to the United States, provided they do so legally and are willing to ADAPT.  Right now, the majority seems to violate both of those principles.  That is mildly disturbing.

When I moved to Canada, I *adapted*.  When I move to the United States (I have ambition, something that is punished in Canada), I will *adapt.*

Australia has 20 million people, and really IS just below Canada-$30,700 PPP GDP.

Composition:

agriculture: 3.4%
industry: 28.2%
services: 68.4%

Canada: $31,500 PPP GDP

Composition:

agriculture: 2.3%
industry: 26.4%
services: 71.3%

Mexico: $9,600 PPP GDP

Composition:

agriculture: 4%
industry: 27.2%
services: 68.9%

All three are similar in composition, although Canada is slightly more involved in services. That said, Mexico has more then Australia. So justify the difference?

And also, justify this:

Mexico:
0.3% HIV/AIDS
75.19 years life expectancy
92.2% literacy

Canada:
0.3% HIV/AIDS
80.1 years life expectancy
97% literacy (old figures)

Australia:
0.1% HIV/AIDS
80.39 years life expectancy
100% literacy

You're not a western country, and not close to it, either.

Uh, no, I'm looking at stuff like a list of the countries in the world sorted in descending order based on GDP per capita.  The US is eighth.  Canada is eighteenth.  Mexico is all way the down at fifty-third.  I mean, even countries like Saudi Arabia and Malta are higher than Mexico.  It's not a terribly wealthy country, comparatively speaking.

Raw GDP is not a very good indicator of the overall status of a countries' citizens; China is sixth in the world in terms of GDP, but that's only because they have so many people.  They're 111th in terms of GDP per capita.

You're not a western country, and not close to it, either.

YES WE ARE? what do you think? Is mexico in Asia? or in the middle east?

do we have a wholly different eastern religion (i.e. buddhism, Islam) as a main? tell me cause I'm lost!

and do you know on why such a low GDP on my country? it's not the stereotypical extreme poverty you think we're in, it's because the indigenous ppl on the south of the country kinda affect the numbers! They dont earn much, so they happen to fall under the poverty category, but even so, they can just lead a perfectly healthy and worriless life, without ever starving or dying of famine like in those african countries. The reason those dudes leave the border is cause they THINK they're gonna treat them better, and want more things for what they do! want a bigger house n sh**t like that! but since these ppl are not really adapted to long distance desert walking, most get tired quickly and run out of food and drink!

Go to a place, like Monterrey, or guadalajara, and you'll never think about my country the same way again!

some of the very Mexican ppl make jokes about jumping the border or even shooting jumpers and whatnot. no one cares! but i take offense since I'm IN the US, and the moment someone finds out i'm mexican, i better be ready for some bashing!

PS: I HAVE BEEN TO CANADA BEFORE! Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec city. although i must admit, Quebec kinda reminded me more of mexique than Anglo-canada. when i was in toronto, everyone presumed me to be Azn.

The health of older people in developed nations is going to be worse than in non developed nations because developing nations definition of "old" is not as high, because there aren't as many. They dont live long enough to accumulate more age related diseases

You have got to be kidding me.  Just a few weeks ago a kid died in Toronto AGAIN because the lineups into the emergency room were too long.

Guess what, in America last year hundreds died because the hostpital wouldn't take them!

Remember, in a good country, healthcare is a PRIVLEGE!

Actually, Healthcare is not a right. I have no more of a right to healthcare then I do to a sailboat, and neither do you. People don't have a right to food, shelter, sex, good plumbing, beer, a computer, 40 acres, a mule, or healthcare. 'Rights' are innate, like free speech.

For an example, I have the right to own a gun,  but I do not have the right to a gun. I have the right to print what I choose on my press (unless it infringes on someone else's rights), but I don't have the right to a printing press.

Um, health care is a right. Well, maybe not in the U.S., but nearly every where else in the world it is.

Which means almost everywhere in the world (I would include most of the US) doesn't have the foggiest idea what a right is.

A right has nothing to do with needs or wants - because those wants or needs have to come from somewhere. A 'right' either comes with a human being (like the right to think), or is an idea (ie like the right to free speech).
