If Clinton wins the general election while losing Ohio and Florida, what state would be considered the new bellwether?

Pennsylvania's RCP average is pretty close to the the national one, so maybe that could be the new one.

Nevada has voted for the EV winner of every election since 1980.

Pennsylvania refused to vote for Bush twice in a row. So no!

Nevada is a good one, and so is New Mexico, depending on how you define "bellwether" - based on the popular vote or on the electoral vote?

Ah yes, similar to the solidly republican Virginia which refused to vote for Clinton twice.

Nevada, which has been more reliable than Ohio since 1912 anyway.

"Bellwether" just means they voted for the same candidate as the nation as a whole, not that the margins are the same. New Mexico will probably stop being a bellwether the next time a Republican wins nationwide, though.
