Does that mean that as of October 19th, she has 62+ million cash-on-hand?

God I hope she has turned her full focus downballot. Last thing we need is for her to end the election with millions left over / unused while otherwise winnable races are lost because they didn't get a little extra love.

Is there official protocol for what you're supposed to do if you finish a campaign with massive amounts of cash on hand?

She could hoard it until 2020 if she decides to run again, or she can save it for 2018, or she can do nothing, and so on. It just can't be used for herself / personal stuff.

Wouldn't 62 million be enough for a national ad campaign? I know that if you were do do an ad campaign with that much money, you would focus it on a few closer states, but the question is still there.

Different numbers here:

Jennifer EpsteinVerified account
‏@jeneps
Clinton raised $101 million from October 1 to October 19 and goes into the final weeks with $153 million cash on hand

Gabriel DebenedettiVerified account
‏@gdebenedetti
The Clinton camp now says it entered the final stretch (Oct 20-) with $153 million on hand. That's enough to spend nearly $8M *per day.*

Maybe that's the difference between the campaign and aligned groups?

Oh true, the previous numbers might be just from her campaign.

Considering none of the money raised went to the RNC, these are downright pathetic numbers. Also this:

Ryan Struyk ‏@ryanstruyk  11m11 minutes ago
Trump gave himself only $30,681.67 during the first three weeks of October. He's given/loaned himself $56.1 million this campaign.

Looking at the actual FEC report, a little more than half comes from transfers from other committees. But I think he has now stopped that joint fundraising with the RNC, so apparently that will dry up. It may be based on his burn rate that he has no choice but to put money in. His TV spend for the week actually exceeds Clinton's at $14.4m (vs Clinton at $13.9).  However, for the report period Trump only personally contributed $30,681.67 during this period.

He has said as recently as this week that he will have spent $100m in total by election day. As of a week ago he had put in about $56m. It looks like his campaign will need that $44m to make it to election day, or they are going to have to start firing people or pulling back some of their booked TV, or perhaps go into debt.

It wouldn't be a Trump certified campaign if people weren't fired and no one went into debt.
