The semi-competitive races I care about most apart from just the Senate majority and the Electoral College:

-McCrory vs. Cooper
-Rubio vs. Murphy
-Toomey vs. McGinty
-Burr vs. Ross
-Johnson vs. Feingold
-NO on all marijuana initiatives
-Not allowing any Southern state (other than Virginia, which is a given) to vote for Clinton
-Utah going for McMullin
-Mike Lee winning by at least 50 over Ms. Snow

Thats a good list, typo aside

ExtremeRepublican must be using the COLEMAK keyboard on which R and S are right next to each other. It's an easy mistake. Smiley

Florida's always been the state to watch these past elections, but Utah seems like it could do something special this election so I'm gonna keep a close eye on both

Indiana because it is one of the first states to report and if it is too close to call then the election is over.

I'm going to try to not focus on any one state and click around a lot. In 2014 I got hooked on VA for much of the night because of how much of a surprise it was and only glanced at the other races. I feel like I missed out on a lot, although I did have CNN/MSNBC on in the background most of the night so it's not as if I was completely unaware of the rest of the country. I literally cheered when Rauner won.

Florida, because Trump is sunk without it, and because the prospect of Rubio also losing (however safe he looks at the moment) is too tantalising to resist.

Oklahoma. JK.

Aside from my home state, I'll be monitoring Alaska, Arizona, and Georgia, simply for the thrill factor if/when they flip blue. Texas to a lesser extent, too.

North Carolina, because I want it to trend Democratic and I really want Pat McCrory to go down in flames.

Also Utah, to see how many counties McMuffin wins.

After FL, these are my picks.

While I hope Trump carries NC, I hope McCrory goes down in flames.  While I somewhat agree with his position on pubic restrooms, it's far from the simple issue he's made it out to be, and the controversy was not sincere, but an attempt of a turd who was behind in the polls to do something to mobilize his base.  Sleeping dogs ought to be left to sleep sometimes, and this was one of those times.
