Outlier, and probably junk too, but this race does seem to be going in the Republican direction (but remains a tossup). Perhaps a combination of the "voters want a check on Hillary" explanation + GOP office burning + Burr's attack ads + impact of riots in Charlotte?

Can only find one other Civitas poll this cycle, by the way, in May. They had Burr at 37 and Ross at 35. The thread on that poll featured this LOL comment which I didn't want to keep from you:

OH & FL will flip but I don't see Burr losing before Portman.

Does this mean Ross is the Ed Gillespie of this cycle?  Or will Burr's numbers be like Hagan's and simply never increase while Ross go up and up?
