Remember when people thought Trump could be competitive-ish here?

Pat Buchanan said Trump would win NJ because of NAFTA.

Trump is very popular in new jersey... i see lots of trump signs, but the urban areas will vote big for clinton which will offset.

Yeah... I do see a lot of TP signs, especially in rural areas. But yardsigns are still a pretty bad predictor for who will win (see:2012)

yup i agree... i think trump will do good in the normal areas of jersey. I live in union county.. but my town is very republican so it is not surprising. I'm curious if somerset county will turn red.

I saw plenty of McCain and Romney signs, and i'm seeing lots of Scott Garrett signs. Doesnt mean all that much. Trump is not very popular here, he's just a better fit than Romney and McCain apparently.

Yes, because they like his attitude and being tough kinda like the jersey personality.

I've seen a single Trump sign (in Blackwood) and like eight Hillary signs (if we're going to be basing this discussion on yard signs)

But that area is very democratic anyways, it will be a clinton in the end, trump would of made it competitive if he didn't keep messing up but o well.

When people think they are always right about things they will say people have to learn but it is true Smiley. You probably think Missouri & NC will flip to democrats too... lol

I don't think many people on Atlas think Missouri will flip, but seven of the ten most recent polls out of NC show Clinton ahead (one tied, two Trump). Also, of the eight forcasting groups that the NYT has on their website (here), 6/8 say that Clinton leads in NC (two say it's a pure tossup).

NJ is not competitive when it is Clinton vs. Trump.  Period.

yup i agree... i think trump will do good in the normal areas of jersey.

As a former resident of Jersey City I strenuously object to the description of the horrid suburban desert further out there as "normal areas" of anything. I mean, if you said "deplorable areas of Jersey", I would have understood.

NJ is a wonderful state that would never approach a decent result for the Ornery Orange Orator.
