Kander - 52%
Blunt - 45%

Independently commissioned poll of Voters conducted October 12-14.

Nate Silver is now accepting submissions of Google Consumer Survey polls, so I thought it warranted a post here.

GCS polls aren't real State polls. I have no idea why Nate is being so accepting of this crap.

This is different from the 50 state surveys that they have been releasing. It's more similar to the SD poll commissioned by cynic.

Oh well. Then I guess we'll see in November if their methodology is worth anything.

I'd really like to be able to believe in this poll, though!

Excellent Missouri is on it way to sending two blue dog Democratic Senators to the US Senate!

"Blue Dog"???Neither are conservative democrats. Both are liberal. Also, this poll shouldn't be taken to indicate anything other than an outlier from a less than reliable source... now if this was from Monmouth, we would be having a different conversation right now.

If true (probably not), the D Senate Majority became an even surer thing. Hopefully the Clinton ad buys in Missouri can pull him across the line as he would make a fine Senator.

Right you are David. And they will vote for Bernie Sanders as Budget Committee Chairman (dear God, please don't let him get anywhere near that gavel).

Don't forget Sherrod Brown as Banking Committee Chairman, too.
I know, but I'm not as worried because
a. While he's still to the left of most Democrats, he's still a capitalist, and
b. He's in big trouble in two years, when I'll likely donate directly to his opponent (and Tammy Baldwin's).

Sherrod Brown also seems to know what he's talking about in a way a lot of left-leaning populists typically don't.

It's really a shame that negotiations between Senate Budget Committee Chairman Bernie Sanders and House Budget Committee Chairman (and former Republican Study Committee chairman) Tom Price are going to be held behind closed doors. I'm sure a fascinating dynamic would emerge.
