The 16% that were Undecided were then asked:

Question 4: (Only if “undecided” is selected for the previous question) Given that you are undecided, which candidate are you leaning towards supporting? (Party affiliations of candidates mentioned)

Cortez Masto  41%
Heck  36%
Jones    3%
Gumina     2%
Sawyer     1%
Williams  <1%
None of the above      5%
Undecided (Not read)   14%

Unless Heck regularly leads by 3-4 points here he's finished. Lean D at this point.

Yeah, this is probably junk (especially with so many undecideds), but this race seems to be moving away from Republicans. Still a Tossup, at least for now. Have they polled the presidential race?

If you reallocated leaners, it would look like ~47% CCM, ~41% Heck.

It would be nice to get some high quality polls of this race.

What do we know about this pollster? Is it another quasi-internal?

Still, solid result. One of the best polls we've seen in a while.

Questionable poll, to say the least, but it is at least somewhat in line with some other polls we've seen, in terms of margin. Heck is falling behind. Hmmmm, if only there was a poster on this forum who predicted that NV wouldn't actually be an ultra-tight Toss-Up/Tilt R state... Wink

Don't flatter yourself. Most people here have said Democrats are consistently being underpolled in Nevada, and most people think Clinton and Cortez Masto will win.

It's certainly not the case that most Democrats called NV Safe D. Plenty were legitimately worried about Hillary's chances in NV, and many considered Heck favored to win here. Some folks even called me delusional for suggesting that NV isn't a toss-up. I'm not always right, I'll certainly admit that, but NV is one state that I was right about all along, despite all the flack that I got.

Does it even matter who called this race correctly a year ago? Why are we doing this?
