Trump doesn't sniff during his speech.

Definitely the latter three, but I don't think Nevada yet. But if the education gap between the states continues to widen over the cycles, it probably will end up that way.

Here goes:
 - Virginia votes to the left of Michigan
 - Hillary sweeps the Eastern Seaboard
 - Rob Portman wins re-election by more than Johnny Isakson
 - Catherine Cortez-Masto wins by more than Russ Feingold

For a few hours liberals will lose their collective minds when early returns show Trump winning in Virginia. Nobody will remember that the Democratic votes tend to come in late until the state is called long after the election.

Again.

Trump supporters are involved in a violent attempt to attack the Hillary victory party and dozens are arrested. 3 people are killed, including a cop.

Dems take 57 seats in the Senate and take control of the House.

Trump is arrested in connection with a rape case just prior to his speech which presumably would have been a concession.

- NE-2 votes to the left of the nation as a whole.
- Trump disappears for several hours after the networks make their call.
- Trump outperforms Romney in Montana.
- The most entertaining part of election night viewing will be the live feed from Trump HQ (presumably Trump Tower?).
- Fox News is the first to call the election for Hillary.

Utah is called for Trump upon poll-closing.

And I'll say that McMullin will win Utah and several counties in Idaho.

- FL votes almost exactly the national average
- McMullin wins Utah
- Arizona flips Dem
- Iowa somehow still flips GOP
- Wisconsin will be the closest state of teh blue feriwlal
- Texas within 5
- Trump gets over 70% in West Virginia
- ME-2 goes to Clinton by at least 6
- Michigan won't even trend Republican, much less swing
- Trump throws a temper-tantrum after losing embarrassingly

One or more of Trump's "polling monitors" will carry out a mass shooting or bombing in a largely Democratic precinct.

PA, VA, and CO are called for Clinton immediately as the polls close.

She will sweep the swing states, winning GA by less than one percent.

Bear with me. Clinton wins the election handily, but Trump wins ME-02.

The map is virtually the exact same as in 2012, with only a couple states flipping on either side.  Clinton comes in 3rd in Utah, and Trump comes in 3rd in either Vermont or New Mexico.

- Ron Johnson wins reelection.
- Trump wins Iowa and ME-02.
- At least one state not in the freiwal is called for Clinton at poll closing time.
- Trump does better than Romney in WI.
- Clinton wins 65% of NH females. NH is called at poll closing time.
- Trump wins Arizona by at least 3 points, despite the fact that TX is only a 6-8-point win for him.

Donald Trump in a desperate election day gamble selectively releases one year of post 1995 tax returns that show that he paid a small amount in Federal Income taxes for that year, but.... is actually worth a lot less money than he claims.

You heard it here first folks Wink

Election Night itself: Alaska ends up narrowly being money by Clinton with the election called before voting is done in Alaska, dramatically depressing Republican turnout among MatSu evangelicals, combined with a huge Libertarian vote, oil sector works upset about his plan to further depress oil prices by "seizing Iraqi Oil" and general Alaskans upset that there annual oil stipend check will be significantly lowered under Trump's Energy Policies.

This is supposed to be a 'crazy' prediction thread, but it's remarkable how plausible some of these are.

States will take an insanely long time to call, and I (in the UK, 5 hours later than Eastern Standard Time) will lose all stamina and fall asleep before the race is called.

Um...

A major news network makes a mistake in the coloured maps and uses the atlas colours instead. It's never fixed and everybody just rolls with it.
